Virtual Realty Techniques as an Entrance to Inherent Values Revival in Architecture Heritage Innovations.
Through the valuable Architectural Heritage, many studies and scientific researches dealt with the multidiscipline Architecture Hereditary, documentation, and preservation of its existence, through safekeeping, repairing, and maintaining. Other studies focused on the "Reuse" aspect. They deal with it as a sustainable way to protect heritage. This paper assumes that the first step for dealing with the architecture heritage is to rebuild the intellectual image for it, which have a great influence in understanding its characteristics and knowing its plastic properties. In this digital age, specialists were able to rebuild the intellectual image for the architectural heritage in more details. Using complicated and interactive digital models for heritage buildings as a touristic and educational applications, gave a life to new terms, such as (Virtual Museums), (Virtual labs), (Virtual Caves) and (Virtual Heritage). The last became very important in dealing with the architectural heritage. Usually, The main process in virtual reality construction focused on building digital models for the architectural heritage itself, which considered uncompleted view. The complete one considered the architectural heritage as a life construction full of value and culture, which deserves concern as well as the architectural plastic values. The paper presents a wider view, trying to use virtual reality techniques over place and time dimensions. It covers another dimension, the inherent values and the generic culture in people life style, which can help us to know more and understand the past clearly. These complete digital models could have a great role in revival the architecture heritage innovations.

Material Resources Management for Educational Building Using GIS (Case Study: Faculty of Engineering-Mansoura University).
This study aims to ascertain the concept of Material Resources Management for Educational Building Using Geographic information system (GIS), as an important means of information management. Enclosing various data and information, university educational buildings requires attentive management to achieve the greatest investment of material resources. The research demonstrates a program designed specifically for managing material resources at the faculty of engineering, Mansoura University in the framework of Continuous Improvement and Qualifying for Accreditation Project (CIQAP) in the faculty over the period of 30 weeks from 2-4-2009 and till 1-10-2011. The research proved its claims through achieving the best management of faculty material resources using GIS. The research also offers different scenarios for crisis management in a way that avoids wasting such resources that are of great value for those buildings.

Urban Communities of the Mountainous Regions in South Sinia as an Introduction to Compatibility between the Defense Strategy and Sustainable Development.
The research problem is summarized in that under the strategic security requirements, the economic developmental elements and great demand for tourism on the South Sinai remain an inhabited area for these ingredients and the popularity of tourism is limited in a small percentage of the territory, while in contrast, we find that the cluster of mountain in the territory of South Sinai constituted nearly two-thirds of area at a time there are some strategic axes, valleys, and the most important tourist sites and economic fundamentals, which demonstrate the importance of that region in development to become a great adding factor adding to the regional developmental production, The research aims mainly at clarifying the importance of the mountainous region site located in the province of South Sinai in its ability to maximize the benefit from the tourism elements and compatibility with the economic, social objectives and the strategic · defense of the territory of South Sinai, thus positioned to become a great adding factor to the regional developmental production, in addition to clarify the features of the urban architectural foundations to establish urban communities, profiting from the past historical heritage, current experiences and features of urban and architectural composition in each of the urban cluster, the architectural cluster, road transport mobility network, and the physical fabric of urban agglomerations in the mountainous areas.

Value Engineering or Value Management is considered an effective systematic approach to resolve problems and improve the value (Problem Solving & Value Improvement Methodology) proven in most countries of the developed world, which it focuses firstly on effectiveness by analyzing function or functions needed to be achieved and identify goals, objectives, needs, requirements and desires, and then looking at efficiency by determining the standards of quality with the least total economical costs (Life Cycle Cost, LCC) and not only the initial costs The approach of value engineering can deal with the culture of an establishment and training staff to achieve its objectives and the development of results in record time better than the other methods that deal with issues of quality and cost such as total quality management (TQM) or p < /strong>rocess restructuring (BPR), at any stage of an engineering project like design, implementation or maintenance, which supports the process of evaluating the success of planning, design and implementation of those projects and to achieve the desired objectives, Therefore, the research aims at shedding light mainly on the methodology, style and effectiveness of value engineering as one of the methodologies and techniques developed in recent times that support the process of evaluation and success of the process in the phases of design, awarding and execution of vital regional projects without compromising quality and task of those projects, this with recognizing one of applications which have been introduced in the balance between the problem of mismatch between what is made in the general budget and cash flow of vital regional govenmental projects such as the establishment of the Teaching Hospital (400-beds) Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia and the real cost through the awarding process of a project with maintaining the functional and designing and quality standards for the implementation of that project.

Remote Monitoring of Distributed Generation Resources Using Redundant System.
As the number and diversity of Distributed Generation (DG) on the grid increases, dispatching these resources at the right time and accounting correctly for the flow of energy become complex problems that require reliable monitoring. There is urgent need for methods of efficient and reliable monitoring and control for such sources, Traditional Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems with centralized control rooms, dedicated communication lines, and specialized operators, are not cost effective to handle a large number of DG resources spread over the grid. The Internet provides a convenient point-to-point communication network that replaces dedicated telephone lines. Inexpensive computers equipped with suitable communication and control software manage the distributed resources. A clever new monitoring system to ensure a proper interface between the DGs and the electric utility system will be essential for DG. Such monitoring could need to communicate with the utility to provide the DGs information. Most importantly, they must be fast and reliable to ensure the system runs safely, In that research, the authors proposed a monitoring system which could collect all needed data of DG. This system is based on the concept of redundant communication and redundant display of all information of DGs locally or remotely. The proposed system is designed using GSM as wireless communication and an internet over telephone line as a wired communication to create redundant communication.

Variable Structure Controller for a Rotary Dryer.
Drying, especially rotary drying is without doubt one of the oldest and most common unit operation in industry and in this paper, the main process is drying solids, while making the Hot Mix Asphalt used in roads construction. Drying is a very complex non-linear process; we make combination between two dynamic models of dryer plant to solve the drying rate equation which cause the non-linearity of the model. The aim of this research is to improve dryer control by developing control system by designing of an integral variable structure controller, the design of integral sliding surface is determined by the choice of the controllability matrix and the selection of the transfer-function matrix from the reference signal to the Pseudo-output, Appling this VSC to the dryer plant to see the performance, in order to reducing the fuel and air used by the dryer, so that the efficiency of the dryer will increases. This article compare the behavior of the plant dryer when connected with the proposed VSC with the traditional PID controller, The behavior of the control system) has been tested with simulations based on the model of a plant dryer using The Matlab®, and Simulink.

Optimal Operation of Electronically-Coupled MicroGrids.
MicroGrids are power generation and distribution systems in which users and generators are in close proximity, They usually have limited power generation capacity, and are networked together to meet a small area's load demand. MicroGrid, (MG) car operate interconnected to the main power network or be operated autonomously, if they are isolated from the power grid (islanded mode). The interconnection of large amounts of nontraditional generation causes problems in a network designed for conventional operation. The use of power electronics interfaces offers a potential solution. This paper presents a generalized formulation to determine the optimal operating strategy and cost optimization scheme for an electronically-coupled MicroGrid. The major objective is to minimize the overall operating cost considering both the p < strong>ower system and power electronics constraints in the two modes of the MG operation. The paper also presents steady-state, fundamental-frequency models of power electronic converters systems for coupling distributed generation (DG) units to the utility power grid based on Newton-Raplison and the developed models. A feature of the proposed approach is that it solves for the internal variables of each DG unit. A Matlab program is developed to represent the proposed algorithm. The program is tested in various network conditions and verified by applying it to a MG with three DG units from which two units are electronically-coupled to the grid in the two modes of operations.

Web-Based Online Monitoring and Control for Economic Load Dispatch.
Web services, and more In general service-oriented architectures, ate amerging technologies of choice for implementing distributed architectural models for performing power system operations such as on-line load dispatch and load flow monitoring of multi-area power systems in a complete secure, distributed and platform Independent environment. On-line load dispatch monitoring requires the calculation of economic load dispatch solutions by using real-time data obtained from the power system cllents. The power system client applications are running In a heterogeneous environment, in this paper an attempt is proposed to apply a web-based online monitoring and control for the economic load dispatch (ELD) problem. The work is presenting a new system architecture applied to the ELD problem for monitoring and controlling on a web-based application. The work here alms to emphasis "he Importance of decentralization of the monitoring and controlling procedures and to spread the need for anywhere accessibility of the electrical power system.

Transmission Network Cost Allocation Based on Superposition Theorem.
Due to continuing trend towards deregulation and unbundling of transmission services, usage cost allocation has become critical. In a deregulated power system, it is usually required to determine the shares of each load and generation in line flows, to permit fair allocation of transmission costs between the interested parties. This paper presents a new methodology for allocating the cost of a transmission network to its users based on the superposition theorem. The suggested methodology has several desirable properties as it is flow based transmission cost allocation (TCA) method, requires only a simple knowledge of load Now and circuit theorems for its implementation; it is independent on the choice of the slack bus, it is straightforward to apply; depends on the real now; it is a physical- base technique; recognizes of counter-flows and transmission use charges that are stable and always positive. effectiveness of the proposed method has been established using both 4-bus system and IEEE 24 bus system and the results are compared with other available TCA techniques (Pro-rata, proportional sharing and equivalent bilateral exchange techniques).

Treatment of Refinery Plants Oily Wastewaters by Saponification/Coagulation Process.
The treatment of industrial wastewater technology is varies from simpler technology to the more advanced technology. This study was based on evaluation, of the possibility of applying saponification/coagulation followed by sedimentation to reduce oils content from refinery plants oily wastewaters. Sodium hydroxide solution (strong base) was used as saponifier for oily wastewater. Ferrous sulfate; ferric chloride and alum were tested by jar test analysis as coagulants to determine the best removal% of COD. The results show that sodium hydroxide, 1 molar concentration; with dosage 10 ml was more efficient for saponification. The comparison between the three different types of treatments methods (sponification followed by sedimentation, sponification followed by cogulation with sedimentation and cogulation followed by sedimentation) indicated that ferric chloride with 40 mg/l dosage is more efficient for coagulation and sedimentation treatment after saponification of refinery plants wastewaters & give a removal efficiency of about 84%.

The Performance of Knitted Fabrics Produced from Cotton/Modal Blended Yarns.
Both fabric appearance and garment comfort are considered the most important wearing characteristics demanded by consumers during daily life use of garments. For many years, predicting fabric properties have been investigated to evaluate the performance of fabrics during wearing. Therefore, this research work aims to invest the physical and mechanical properties of knitted fabrics using step wise regression to be able to estimate the performance of these fabrics during wear, Four different fabrics with different yarn blends of Egyptian cotton and modal were produced on the same knitting machine. The fabrics were finished by two different techniques the first one in the tubular form (rope form) and the second one in the open width form. Step wise regression was used to estimate the performance of these fabrics during wear. Finally, the desirability function was used to optimize the multiple response properties. The analysis of results shows that the modal is perfect to wear in summer; as it absorbs the sweat easily and allows the air flow due to its high air permeability.
