In this work several methods are used to assess the quality ranking of some denim fabrics objectively and to choose the best fabric for ready garments mills. Also the necessary performance characteristics of denim could be selected and arranged carefully in decreasing order of importance. Quality assessment methods such as arithmetic mean, geometric mean, harmonic mean, expontional mean, polygon area, quality number and generalized desirability function can be used for assessing the quality ranking of denim fabrics accurately.
