Abstract

The objective of the present work is to investigat the influence of the sizing machine settings on the tensile and frictional properties of the sized yarn as well as the %size add-on. A significant effect on the properties the sized yarns was found due to the tension in the different zones , drying tepereature and squeezing pressure.
