Abstract

 
In modern control centers, Data Processor (DP) has been installed to process the unreliable and erroneous telemetered data. The main focus of the present paper is concerned with developing more efficient algorithm of Parallel Data Processing (PDP), to generate satisfactory results with minimum amount of computation expense and implementation costs Both algorithms of the conventional Central Data Processor (CDP) and the proposed POP are programed. The effectiveness of PDP is verified by number of tests on different models of power systems under extreme conditions. A set of results for PDP and for CDP are obtained The results show that more reduction in processing requirements and high reliability is gained using PDP.
