Trials have been made to make use of a light microscope and swelling solution to explain the reduction of strength and breaking extension after resin treatments. The results obtained are in full agreement with earlier postulation. The latter ascribed the loss in strength properties to stress concentration by crosslinking and oelleuloss degradation by the casalyst used in resin treatment.
