An integral equation whose kernel presents logarithmic singularity is numerically solved by product method. Gauss-Legendre method is developed to be suitable in handing such type of integral equation. Hence, it is used to obtain a numerical solution for integral equation whose kernel presents logarithmic singularity. A comparison and both the weakness and strengths of the solutions obtained by these methods are evaluated and discussed.
