Abstract

It is noted that the designers of schools in general, And classrooms in particular, They were mostly interested in one factor only, It is the economic factor, Without looking at other factors such as educational factors and visual comfort which directly affect the design of educational spaces, And through observation and visits by the researcher , And measuring lighting levels in a group of schools note that lighting levels within classrooms are not identical to international standards which provides the appropriate visual comfort for the activity to be desired, As a result of the wrong choice of interior design elements of the classrooms through the use of colors, furniture, educational elements and materials to finish the internal surfaces, Which negatively affects the ability of students to attain education for its direct relationship to light, visual ability and clear vision, The research discusses what the interior design elements of the primary school classrooms are, And the need to design them in proportion to the visual comfort of students and their ability to learn at a higher quality, Finally, the paper concludes several conclusions that set determinants and reach the recommendations to achieve internal design elements typical for classroom spaces contributes to improving visual performance and good vision for students.
